Public Transport

Coming from Schiphol Airport, take the train to Amsterdam Central Station. The train ride takes approximately 20 minutes and departs very frequent. From the Central Station it is a 15 minute walk (800 meters) to The Hendrick's Hotel.

Also, you can take bus 22 or 43 from the back of Central Station (busstop CS IJzijde), the first stop is Prins Hendrikkade and right in front of our hotel.

By Car

Coming from the highway A10 take exit S116 and follow the signs to Amsterdam Centrum. When exiting the IJ-tunnel keep right and you will be on the Prins Hendrikkade.

Pass our hotel on your left (around 300 meters) and make a U-turn 200 meters down the road. In front of our hotel it is possible to park shortly to unload your luggage.

Parking & Valet parking service

Please beware that street parking in Amsterdam is limited and quite expensive (€85,50 per 24 hours / €7,50 per hour in the city center). It is possible to stop in front of our hotel for dropping off your luggage.


For longterm parking: Parking Center Oosterdok near Central Station is a better alternative. The parking costs are €25 per 24 hours and is affordable for Amsterdam standards. From the parking garage it is a 10-minute stroll to The Hendrick's Hotel.

Please navigate to De Ruijterkade 154, 1011 AC Amsterdam for the parking garage due to contruction to the road at the parking garage. 



If you don't want to be bothered with all the trouble with parking, please use our valet-parking service. The costs are €35 per 24 hours and your car will be parked by a valet in a private parking garage. Damages are insured. The valet service is available from 07:00 till 22:00.

Please contact us before to make a reservation. It is possible to contact the hotel 30 minutes before arrival, to make sure the valet is ready at the hotel.

Please note that the valet service is not available at the moment due to COVID-19.
