COVID-19 Measures & Policy

The current measures are in place until January 25th 2022.

The Dutch government has issued restrictions against the new Omicron-variant.

Basic rules:

  • Keeping a social distance of 1,5-metre (6 feet) is mandatory
  • Wear a face mask is mandatory inside in public areas, the public transport and taxis
  • Wash your hands frequently and don’t shake hands
  • Sneeze and cough in your elbow
  • Only groups of 4 persons are allowed outdoors, unless from a shared household

Lockdown measures:

  • Hotels are still to allowed to be open for guests
  • Essential shops and services are open until from 05:00 until 20:00 (5 AM - 8 PM). Essential shops are supermarkets, pharmacies, shops which sell food and drinks, etc. Essential services are healthcare, laundromats, repairs, etc.
  • Non-essential shops and services are open from 05:00 until 17:00 (5 AM - 5 PM). Those are clothing shops, book shops, sporting facilities, massage parlors, hair dressers, etc.
  • Bars, restaurants, cultural (music venues, theatres, museums) and touristic venues are still closed. Takeaway and delivery from a restaraunt is still possible.

The COVID Entry Pass is required for entry of a selection of venues, visible in the next block.


COVID Entry Pass

The COVID Entry Pass is valid with either of the following:

  • Being fully vaccinated
  • Had a negative corona test not older than 24 hours
  • Had corona within the last 6 months

The COVID Entry Pass is required for entry:

  • Hotels
  • Restaurants, bars and cafés
  • Cinemas, theaters and music venues
  • Museums and historic buildings
  • Conferences and trade fairs
  • Casinos

At these venues, when seated wearing a face mask is not required.

Hotel Policy COVID-19

  • The Hendrick's Hotel takes precaution measures in the hotel and with cleaning the rooms.
  • Extra attention will be paid to 'contact surfaces' in the public areas, like tables, door handles, etcetera.
  • In the hotel, we ask our guests to follow our guidelines. If the guest does not comply to these, management has the right to remove the guest(s) from the hotel without giving a refund.
  • If guests are showing symptoms like runny nose, cough and fever etcetera, the hotel has the right to refuse entrance.
  • Guests should keep sufficient distance among themselves and should respect the space of other hotel guests.
